If you’re a trainee counsellor, I know how daunting it can sometimes be to face the rigours of academic work – the essays and presentations that are all part of gaining your certificate, diploma or degree. Having worked in corporate communications, spending many years constructing all kinds of documents, papers and PowerPoint, and gained my level 6 Diploma in counselling, I am familiar with the pressures that sit alongside these tasks. Balancing the need to write to strict criteria and word count while demonstrating your understanding of counselling theory and also articulating your process and feelings all at the same can seem like a tall order. Cancellation Policy
I will always ask for the full fee to be paid ahead of the session. Please aim to be on time. If you are delayed, I will wait but if I don't hear from you after 15 minutes or so, I’ll assume that it is a cancellation without notice. Cancellations more than 48 hours in advance are not chargeable. However, within 48 hours of the session, the full payment will be due, as I have reserved that time for you. If there is a genuine emergency within that time, we can always discuss the matter and see if a waiver is appropriate. If I have to cancel a session, I will aim to notify you as soon as possible. You will not be charged, and I will refund you if you have paid for the session. We’ll work to reschedule as soon as possible.
